Extraction 2 Movie Review

The second part of our Thor Brother’s Extraction movie is out, it is available on Netflix in Hindi also. So how is this movie, let’s talk. Look, simple and best, if I tell you that if you like action then this movie is full of one of the best action sequences.

It is a 2-hour movie, out of which if the start and credits etc. are left out, it is only one hour and 50 minutes long. It is a very fast best movie, in which almost one hour and 20 minutes is only action and in the remaining 30 minutes you are told the story of this movie.

And there is also a 21 minute one take action sequence which is also the selling point of this film. I re-watched those 20-21 minutes of the literary film to see if I could find camera cuts etc. but no and for this, hats off to you!

The action which starts with taking marks, gradually gets leveled up one by one. For 47 minutes in which first level is prison break, second level after prison break, fight with the soldier there, after leaving from there, fight in the car, after leaving there, fight in the train and in the last, the destruction of the helicopter. Wow brother! And in between The way the camera work has been done, the way the actors have performed and the way VFX has been used, we can’t even imagine how much effort would have gone into shooting this 21-minute non-stop action sequence. The makers say that there are visible cuts in between, which means that the original scenes have been added by cutting, but it seems to us that it will be non-stop, which will be a lot of fun to watch and your eyes will also remain wide open. The story continues from the previous part where Taylor was almost dead but his friends etc save him and after that he gets another mission which is a bit personal this time.

Now what is that mission, you will get to see in the movie itself, but I personally felt that here the story is only 30% and the action is 70%, or the story is 20% and the action is 80%, no, the story is 10% and the action is 90%.

Well, the film is dubbed in Hindi but whether you watch it in English or in Hindi, there are many scenes in Georgian language which have not been dubbed. That’s kind of awkward, but you will definitely find subtitles in Hindi or English below, which would be fine for one or two scenes, but when this happens again and again, your eyes remain on the subtitles below rather than on the screen, and that means reading all the titles. If the screen changes even before then, there may be difficulty in understanding the scene properly. Yes, if you are good at reading then it is very good, otherwise you have the option to pause.

The cinematic experience of the rest of the movie would have been more enjoyable if it had been shown in a theatre. Anyways, the ending of the movie is such that you will get to see its third part also and I personally will definitely wait. This movie is a must watch for action lovers. Go and watch it on Netflix. Won’t you watch it on Netflix? So where will you look?
